April 13 is the last date a graduate student can do the following without W's appearing on the transcript:  Drop a course; Elect credit/no-credit option OR Change the option; OR Withdraw from all courses.

• $10,000 Scholarship
• Deadline is June 30, 2012 at 11:59:59pm PST
• 2500 word essay on "the advantages of plastic pipe in a modern infrastructure"
• Student must be 18 years of age or older
• Open to all Civil Engineering students in their junior or senior years and or at the graduate level
• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, as well as American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico

The showcase is an all-campus event that features service-learning and social entrepreneurship courses and programs at the University of Illinois, including spring semester projects from the LINC-Learning in Community program.  The showcase provides a chance to network and learn about new ways to get involved in academic and co-curricular projects that strengthen communities and foster civic responsibility.
