Association of State Dam Safety Officials - Scholarship

The Association of State Dam Safety Officials (www.damsafety.org) is sending out the link to its annual scholarship competition – a great opportunity for students interested in engineering and related fields. The 2012-2013 ASDSO Undergraduate Scholarship includes a prize of up to $10,000, awarded to undergraduates planning to graduate in 2013. Application deadline: March 31, 2012

Study Abroad Office: Online Course Approval Database

The Study Abroad Office is excited to unveil our online Course Approval Database.  It contains over 4,000 courses that University of Illinois students completed while abroad and that are approved for on-campus credit.  Previously, the database was accessible only through computers in the Resource Room of the Study Abroad Office.  Now that it is online, you can access it from anywhere in the world. 

This database is a powerful tool for students, staff, and faculty--please take some time to explore it.  If you have questions, comments, or suggestions for improvement, please contact Nancy Childers at nchilder@illinois.edu.


To find the database: Go to studyabroad.illinois.edu, select the Resources tab, and then click Course Approval Database.
